My approach.

Welcome! I’m happy you’re here.

First and foremost, it is important that you feel connected and safe with your therapist.

We might be a good fit if you are looking for take-home strategies to use between sessions, are open to being challenged, and want a provider who shows up authentically

Then, you should know that I use an evidence-based approach to care.

That means that I use interventions that research indicates works best for a given concern, but adapt them to fit your unique situation.

I take a holistic approach, meaning health-related behaviors like sleep and movement will be considered in our treatment. For your presenting concern(s), I mostly use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and behavioral therapy (e.g., parent management training). I also pull from mindfulness-based stress-reduction therapy and polyvagal theory.

It is important to me that therapy is a collaborative, iterative process — meaning, we work together on what is important to you, when it is important to you.

My hope is that through our process, you feel more confident and empowered.
